Day….something or other update

Let’s address the positive first, shall we? My face, being top of the list. I kid you not, it has never looked better, healthier, clearer…I mean, maybe when I was like, 3 or something, but seriously people. The oil cleanse has worked like a charm. I swear, I will never go back to face washes, lotions or potions again! Secondly, my arm pits. The baking soda is still working like a charm! No smell. Nothing. It’s perfect.

My hair went through a weirdo transition period. Super weirdo people. Flat to my head. So, I opted to use the baking soda/ACV mixtures a couple of times a week and use my regular shampoo/conditioner the other couple of times. I will say that the shampoo and conditioner I use is an organic/vegan/cruelty free brand and it smells divine. (The smell part is just a bonus for me. I love lavender!)

We are still not using our microwave and dishwasher and it’s been nothing but great results. I mean, Sean is totally using the microwave at his work to heat up his lunches (as you wish, sweetie…kill yourself. haha I kid I kid!) But Hubs has gotten a ton better. Today he took a sandwich, so no microwave there. At least at home we aren’t using one. The no-dishwasher thing has been so easy. I was really worried that it was going to be a huge extra chore for me, but it has turned out to be nothing really. I already handwash my knives, pots, pans, etc, so adding a couple of plates and silverware to the mix was an easy transition for me.

On a random side note, I’ve started selling my signs that I’m painting. This is shameless advertisement, but it’s my blog. I figure I can do what I wish. 🙂

I can customize the signs to your liking, and they are all hand painted. No stamps, no stickers, etc. Just let me know if you are interested, and I’ll give you a pricing breakdown.

Below is a sign I did for my mom for her birthday. (The grandkids call my mom “Nonni” so that’s why the sign says Nonni on it.)

Hope you are all having a great Tuesday! 🙂

About Erin

I'm a mom to the sweetest little boys ever, Owen & Colin. Owen was born in April of 2007 after 22 hours of active labor in a hospital. Love him more than life. Knowing I didn't feel another hospital birth was right for me, Colin was born at home surrounded by our 2 midwives and our little family. I've been married to my hubs for 7 years. We met in 1997 in an AOL Chatroom...the rest is history. I'm crazy. I'm funny. I am socially awkward. This is my life.
