I made these yesterday. YUM. I chose this recipe because it didn’t call for “a slab of parafin wax.” That weirded me out.
1 3/4 cup peanut butter
4 cups powdered sugar
1 stick unsalted butter
1 t vanilla
2 cups chocolate chips
4 TB shortening
1. Cream together peanut butter, sugar, butter and vanilla. Shape into small balls. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or overnight.
2. Melt chocolate chips and shortening in pan over low heat. Dip balls in chocolate using toothpicks. Place on waxed paper until hardened. Refrigerate.
