8 Weeks

So, today I’m 8 weeks along. I thought I’d maybe be feeling a little better by now. Apparently not. If anything, I’m feeling worse. I’m EXHAUSTED and cranky and feel like I could puke at any moment. Awesome. Just awesome…..At least with this pregnancy, I’m not having to wake up at 5am to get ready for work. There’s a big positive!

Pregnancy Highlights!

How Far Along: 8 weeks today

Size of Baby: 1 inch. At least that’s what the website told me.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I still think it’s only been 3 pounds. This week, I’ve felt horrid and haven’t eaten much. Ginger ale is my best friend.

Maternity Clothes: Just pants. Anything that is too tight on my stomach makes me want to hurl.

Gender: Owen has us convinced it’s a girl. Still. 🙂

Movement: Nada

Sleep: I’ll take as much as I can get.

What I Miss: Just eating. 😉 Nothing sounds good.

Cravings: Water. And ice.

Symptoms: Pretty much feeling sick 24/7 now. No throwing up, but a lot of nausea. I’ve been wearing my motion sickness bands this week, too. Not sure if they help, but I figure it can’t hurt.

Best Moment This Week: My hubby vacuumed for me. 🙂 It’s the little things.

8 Weeks. Getting large and in charge.

About Erin

I'm a mom to the sweetest little boys ever, Owen & Colin. Owen was born in April of 2007 after 22 hours of active labor in a hospital. Love him more than life. Knowing I didn't feel another hospital birth was right for me, Colin was born at home surrounded by our 2 midwives and our little family. I've been married to my hubs for 7 years. We met in 1997 in an AOL Chatroom...the rest is history. I'm crazy. I'm funny. I am socially awkward. This is my life.
