Train Museum, Exhaustion and a Pregnancy Pillow

Standard

This past weekend, my dad came up to Reno and we all headed to Carson City to the train museum. FYI: There are NO trains you can actually go inside. You can look, but no touching. Kind of a bummer if you ask me. Anyways, we only spent about an hour there. My dad loved reading all the little blurbs on the walls about the trains, but I was bored. I really wanted to take pictures of Owen in a train, since he’s slightly in love with all steam engines. Here are a few pics from the museum.

And because nothing says exhaustion like being 9 weeks preggo, this is for your viewing pleasure.

When I was preggo with Owen, I had this AWESOME pregnancy pillow that Sean got me. It was huge and took up about 1/3 of our bed. It was okay when it was just the two of us in our bed, but now that Owen is sleeping with us still, we didn’t really have room for the pillow. Boo. Enter Craigslist. I found a brand new Sealy maternity/nursing pillow, and we picked it up while in Carson City.

(Everytime I try to post a picture, the picture is like 1 inch by 1 inch. Boo.) The big bonus is also that I only paid $20 for the pillow. Owen doesn’t care about the pillow as much as he does the plastic, zippered package it came in.

Well, it’s finally almost summer time in Reno. My temperature gauge for inside the house says 78 degrees. I have 4 fans running and our windows open. (Sean refuses to let me run the AC until it’s close to 100 in house.) 🙂 I think it’s supposed to be a lot warmer tomorrow, so we may brave the apartment swimming pool for the first time. It’s not heated though, and cold water makes me sad. We’ll see if Sean will go with Owen after work while I get my tan on. Or just sit under the umbrella with some sweet tea. Either/Or.

About Erin

I'm a mom to the sweetest little boys ever, Owen & Colin. Owen was born in April of 2007 after 22 hours of active labor in a hospital. Love him more than life. Knowing I didn't feel another hospital birth was right for me, Colin was born at home surrounded by our 2 midwives and our little family. I've been married to my hubs for 7 years. We met in 1997 in an AOL Chatroom...the rest is history. I'm crazy. I'm funny. I am socially awkward. This is my life.
