All-Natural Cleaning Kit

Standard

Yesterday, I had a burst of energy, so I decided to tackle a project I’ve been wanting to do for a while now. Make an all-natural cleaning kit. The good news? I already had all the items at my house, except for the 2 squirt bottles I needed. I got the squirt bottles at Wal-Mart for 97 cents each. The only items I used were vinegar, baking soda, Borax and some essential oil. Okay, I probably used more than my fair share of the essential oil, just because I absolutely hate how vinegar smells. It is the one smell that will make me gag whether I’m pregnant or not. Blah.

Instead of boring you with the details, I’m going to include a link to a FANTASTIC new blog my friend Emily told me about. Here is the link to the All-Natural Cleaning Kit.

I also made Owen his own little squirt bottle of vinegar (and yes, it DOES have his name on it) so he can clean if he wants to. Surprisingly enough, that child spent a good 2 hours yesterday cleaning our sliding doors, the bedroom window and the glass on the front of the fireplace. Such a good helper.

Our big plans for today include a playdate at our swimming pool with some friends, and then Owen and I have bigger plans to make some crackers this afternoon to go with our hummus. If the crackers turn out right, I’ll post the recipe here.

Happy Monday!

About Erin

I'm a mom to the sweetest little boys ever, Owen & Colin. Owen was born in April of 2007 after 22 hours of active labor in a hospital. Love him more than life. Knowing I didn't feel another hospital birth was right for me, Colin was born at home surrounded by our 2 midwives and our little family. I've been married to my hubs for 7 years. We met in 1997 in an AOL Chatroom...the rest is history. I'm crazy. I'm funny. I am socially awkward. This is my life.
