33 Weeks

I must say, I love Thanksgiving. I love it even more when I’m pregnant. What I don’t love is that my actual stomach is the size of an apricot so I had to eat my meal in shifts. Either way, two thumbs up for the delicious meal I prepared this year. haha I made our turkey and gravy in the crockpot (Thanks, Cook’s Country) and it turned out FANTASTIC. If anyone wants the recipe, let me know. Easy and delish.

We are celebrating Christmas at my mom and dad’s house next week, and I’m pleased to say all my Christmas shopping (for this event) is complete. I still have to buy hubby’s gift. And Owen’s. Yikes.

Pregnancy Highlights!

How Far Along: 33 Weeks!

Size of Baby: 17.2 inches and 4.2 lbs

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 18-20 pounds. It fluctuates daily.

Maternity Clothes: Everything. But I can only fit into about 3 pairs of my maternity pants. Great.

Gender: A BOY! Colin Whitney

Movement: Colin is so active! I love his movements, but I wish he’d tone them down a bit. The one spot he keeps elbowing me in is getting a little sore.

Sleep: You win some, you lose some. If I don’t drink any water throughout the night, I can get a good 4 hours of sleep. But, then I wake up completely thirsty and gulp a huge glass of water.

What I Miss: Putting socks on without it being an Olympic event.

Cravings: Ice. I’ve really been utilizing our blending and crushing up lots of ice. So yum.

Symptoms: A few Braxton Hicks contractions. Although totally normal, I’ve learned not to tell hubby. He freaks out.

Best Moment This Week: Having a great Thanksgiving with our little family. And, having hubby be on call for work, and actually get a few calls…Holiday Pay = double time baby! 🙂

33 Weeks. And one of the 3 pairs of pants that fit me.

This belly has completely taken over my body. This one's for you, Sis! Enjoy! PS Does this belly make my rear look small? 😉

About Erin

I'm a mom to the sweetest little boys ever, Owen & Colin. Owen was born in April of 2007 after 22 hours of active labor in a hospital. Love him more than life. Knowing I didn't feel another hospital birth was right for me, Colin was born at home surrounded by our 2 midwives and our little family. I've been married to my hubs for 7 years. We met in 1997 in an AOL Chatroom...the rest is history. I'm crazy. I'm funny. I am socially awkward. This is my life.
